What is the Left Hand Path?
I originally wrote this article 13 years ago. And today March 29, 2025, it has changed again. I used to think that the left-hand path was a road that will take you for a bumpy ride and where you can meet like-minded people who have similar ideals about the world and the state of spirituality (of course with their own experiences) as it is.
I was fucking wrong. What the left-hand path has turned out to be is full of a bunch of whiny ass, addictive weak humans who need to feel and be a GOD instead of working on their own self-mastery. Doing the shadow work, understanding that they have been the reason their life has taken a turn. We may not have started it, but we don’t have to continue being victims. I was a piece of shit for a while and took 2 years off to realize I was the issue. Now, over 15 years later I am thankful for stepping back and seeing the situation for what it really was, not what I Believed it was. I allowed myself to fall into people’s traps, to be apart of their pettiness. And let’s face it, being an LHP practitioner we an tend to fall into the trap of being cliquish like any other path. But what separates us is our ability to rise above the squabble and look into the situation with a different set of eyes and mind frame.
Time has shown me that most of the people on this path still are looking for sky daddy to help them, or they want to be worshipped like sky daddy so they can feel better about themselves. It isn’t about helping others overcome their issues, it is about helping them overcome their issues and see things as THEY see it so they can control you. Because deep down inside, some LHP practitioners are wolves praying on the weak. They have never paid any attention to helping others. They only want to be elevated to a god like status to fulfill the part of their psyche that is pathetically weak.
The Left Hand Path is one wrought with personal sacrifice. It is realizing that you were garbage, you allowed yourself to be used, and you are actively working to clear that poison from around you. It is choosing to wake up every morning and do better. Choosing to take that jagged path with the rocks, dangerous animals leading to that house in the clearing, instead of taking the lit path. To be in the light, you must master the darkness. Yes, there are times when you feel like letting the darkness take you out, it would be easier honestly, but if that was the case you would have been gone a long time ago. You made it this far, and it is for a reason. This life we live is not easy. Some of us have had it harder than others at a younger age, some are entering that field at an older age. Either way, it is meant for you to conquer the darkness so you can be full of light, of knowledge, of Self.
The Left Hand Path is one of Strength. It is a Path that not everyone can make through.
