Self-Dedication and Self-Initiation

Self-Dedication and Self-Initiation

Both of these are done everyday.

Self-Dedication
When one finds the path, culture, deity or what have you they will dedicate themselves to it. They learn all they can in the hopes that they will evolve, grow and reach that plateau that they have been looking for. Dedicating to a deity/path/et cetera does not mean you have to become an initiate in that structure you choose. Dedication means that what you have chosen well improve your overall being, and show in everything you do. I self dedicated to Satan like all (almost all) Satanists do, to my path as a Witch and as a Vamprye. To me it’s not necessary to proclaim any damn thing, but it does help me in my trials and tribulations of my chosen path.

Self-Initiation
Now this isn’t tricky. For me at least it isn’t. I can’t speak for the rest of you guys. But, how do you think most of these new traditions got started. Someone who doesn’t want to be apart of these jackass, fluffy, egotistical, creepy, or to organized, respected groups and just want to do what they feel is better for them or there calling. How? By gathering resources, doing their own writings and rituals, following the deities they believe are with their particular path. They can register with the ULC for a Revendship, brother ship or somethingship. Hell I did. Not shame of it either. I am legal with the state so I could care less what people think or say you know. Pick a title and go at, than build and write their own initiation for their members, hierarchy and such. For those that do, I commend you. It takes time, research, plenty of resources, legal leg work and commitment to do so. Whether the group is productive or not. Another way I think is, if someone joins a wiccan or another group, goes through the ranks and then either stays or bounce and do their own thing. Third way is to have an occultist bestow the title on you and there you go.

The reason why I wrote a little on this, is because there are tons of Satanic HP/S yet no initiation rituals that I know about. The main one I have seen have been Wiccan. I did come across a few Vamp ones, Dark Ones, and Satanic; but overwhelming the Wiccans got this plastered all over the place. Well at least online and in print anyway. Are there plenty more in the community, probably a hell of a lot, are they available for every ShadowWolf, MoonStone and Larry, probably not.

Now when it comes to self-initiation, I believe it can be down if your tradition is yours only. An example, you cannot self initiate into the Gardner or Alexandrian Traditions because they have a basic structure that must be followed, and a group you must be a part of.

Self-dedication and Self-initiation are possible, will always be done and always questioned by those who think everything must be done under a Grand Bastard Idiot, or an Adept with three years of information. Not true. I have not been under anyone, and I prefer it that way. I have no problem if someone advises me or shows my things but that whole “I will teach you the right way grasshoppa” is not for me.

And as always:

MY OPINION IS JUST THAT

I look forward to everyone else’s take on self-dedication and self-initiation.

Feeding Bubble

Posted in Rituals and Workings with tags , , , , on 09/15/2013 by Keona-Mlh

Ok so every Friday the 13th, I send out thought bubbles. What I do is I place them over busy areas, like schools and businesses, and a few stores. I send them out with the intent to catch all the negative energy from the superstitious people and a desperate bubble for all the ambient energy. Once the bubbles are filled I programmed then to clean the negative energy by firing them through a screen, breaking them down into they are only positive energy. It normally takes an hour or so after collecting to do that. Once they are ready I attach tendrils to them and feed off of them through out the day. It boosts my energy and it gives me a rush because people don’t understand how much energy they put out on this day. It may be negative sng retarded from them, but it is charged up and use for my personal gain. I love it.

Hecatean Magick by B. Morlan

I had this book fir a few months now. Maybe longer. I know I got it not long after it came out. See Hecate is one of the female Gods I work with. Matter of fact Lilith is my all, and Hecate is the protector and guide for me. Whenever I do a ritual those two ladies are automatically present. I work them in all workings no matter how large or small.

So when this book came out I was excited. Anything I can get on the Gods I work with I obtain. Within a day I devoured the book. I didn’t know where to begin. I already have as notebook on Hecate that is full oh information on her for the last three years and this book just added more to my pot.

There are extra herbs, rites, meditations and information that I
Was new to me fir the most part. There were be offerings listed as well as tools and circles that are for her in her right. This is a book that should be in your library if you decide to work with Hecate.

I only have 46 books?!

Posted in Rituals and Workings with tags , , on 09/13/2013 by Keona-Mlh

I know right. It’s like I decided to give all my books that I have read, or don’t want to friends. So now I am down to only those that are on what I want to focus on. Which means I can buy more books.

I admitted, I am a book hoarder lol. I have 130 on my kindle, and 1200 probably less after last night on my computer and I do print them out lol. So I’m actually getting to read ask that I have.

I have tons of notebooks, notepads, booklets and papers littered all over my side of the bed, on my bottom part of my altar and in the drawers lol. I can’t help it, I either committed it to memory or take notes for later.

I’m a book worm, and its addicting 🙂

The Necromantic Ritual Book by Leilah Wendell

Posted in Book Reviews with tags , , on 09/13/2013 by Keona-Mlh

Did not care for this book at all.  I literally skipped through half the book and that’s not saying much at only 50 pages.

I guess when I started reading it and she was saying that you have to drink the years of despair to understand Azrael I was like really. The whole, your altar must be in an area with stagnant water and under Orions Belt calling out to Gabriel I was like what the hell.

So not one to just dismiss I moved forward. I found a nice saying I can rewrite and use as a theme for my Necromantic, Death Workings. Got a few more attributes of a few herbs I can add to my Death/Necromantic notebook.

Then it came time to commune with the Dead. This broad is taking about going to people’s funerals, hanging around graveyard, stalking them for weeks to watch the guards and visitors, and to sleep in an open crypt where the coffins are open. Note that is just damn creepy and weird as hell. Ask your workings must be done in a shallow grave under shade trees and I was like that’s it. I’m done.

Then the print was so damn hard to read. I couldn’t tell the v’ s from the u’ s, or the s’ s from the d’ s. That while writing in old world script to give the book that look, was an assault on the eyes.
